|Samantha + Greg|

This Fairhope, Alabama wedding was seriously everything I've dreamed of. The beautiful pastel colors, the sweeping trees...It was everything I'd hoped for! I hadn't heard of Fairhope until Samantha told me they had booked their wedding there. She said, "Just wait, you'll see why." As soon as I drove into the town I knew exactly what she meant. There's not a street in Fairhope that isn't beautiful and charming. My mom took the trip with me for fun and we spent hours walking down the streets, dreaming about living there. The contemporary farm homes right on the coast were truly what dreams are made of. I promised myself that I'd come home, pack my bags, husband and dogs and move. That hasn't happened yet, but maybe one day!

I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do. I enjoyed every minute capturing Greg and Samantha's love for one another. The way they look at each other says it all. and you should see them break it down on the dance floor!!

|Annie + Lee|

Annie and Lee's wedding in Forsyth, Georgia at the Caldwell's home was so incredibly beautiful and filled with so much love. There's something so quaint about a backyard garden wedding and it was done so perfectly. The intricate details created by Sandra were truly breathtaking- my assistant and I were running around with excitement snapping photos of every perfect setup!

Annie and Lee decided to have a first look and it was one of the sweetest and most intimate moments I have ever captured. Annie and Lee share such a sweet love and it was a joy and honor to photograph their wedding day. They are so kind and I loved every minute of working with them. I am thrilled to share these images with you all and I have such a grateful heart as I think about how happy I am doing what I love!

KARLY + PARKER

SATURDAY, APRIL 8, 2017 // THE OLD JEFFERSON COTTON MILL

These images light up my heart. I am moved by them and I feel so incredibly honored to have captured Karly + Parker's love for one another. Yesterday was right out of a dream and it couldn't have been a more perfect day. One of my most favorite parts of being a wedding photographer is that I'm able to share beautiful love stories and capture moments that will last forever. Moments that they'll be able to look back on when they're old and gray and more in love than ever. I found myself almost in tears yesterday because my heart was so happy doing what I love- it is a blessing from God to work with such kind hearted clients and friends.

One of my most favorite parts of being a wedding photographer is that I'm able to share beautiful love stories and capture moments that will last forever. I found myself almost in tears yesterday because my heart was so happy doing what I love- it is a blessing from God to work with such kind hearted clients and friends.

Parker and Karly's wedding was filled with so much love and it was so apparent that God had carefully and purposefully molded their hearts for one another. Parker's father told me the sweetest story about their first date. Parker had come home from dinner with Karly and he sat down next to his dad, looking very serious and he said, "Dad, I'm in trouble." His father asked what he meant. He said "I've met the most incredible girl." Soon after, Parker brought Karly home to meet his family and his dad said that he knew right away exactly what Parker had meant. They both knew immediately that she was the woman that he would spend his life with.

I LOVE the sweet prayer they shared before the ceremony with their pastor. It was so genuine and intimate. It gave them a chance to be together and calm their nerves before walking down the aisle. These images show how at home they are together. Parker's Best Man, Lee, spoke about 1 Timonthy 4:12 that states: " Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity." He spoke about how important it is to set an example for others of what marriage is meant to be, devoted to one another the way Christ is devoted to us. Karly and Parker exemplify all of these things and it was truly the greatest honor to capture these timeless moments!

Melissa + Zac

So here it is! My first blog post! I'm making a promise to myself and my business to take more time to blog. I think it's a wonderful way for friends to keep up with what's going on with Southern Frame and it also invites others who may not know much about me and my love for photography. Hope you enjoy!

There's something so sweet and personal about Engagement Sessions. Each one is different from the other and I love how each couple's personalities shine through. Melissa + Zac's Engagement Session took place in Piedmont Park on a beautiful Spring evening. The park was filled with families having picnics, couples biking and lots and lots of dogs so I was in heaven! Melissa and Zac had a great idea to wear athletic clothes for a few of their photos- I love this because it shows how they would be in everyday life. Real and authentic. As a lifestyle photographer, that's something I love to capture!

They are such an amazing couple- their love for each other radiates from them and they are also super funny- I got a few good giggles when I asked them to put their foreheads together and they couldn't stop laughing. Melissa + Zac have known each other since 8th grade and were great friends all throughout high school and college. Their friendship grew into love and they started dating their senior year of college.. A few years later Zac proposed in Las Vegas on a romantic gondola tour. As they were about to go under a bridge, Melissa looked up and saw the words "Will you marry me?" and Zac asked her to spend forever with him.

Melissa and Zac will be getting married this November at Park Tavern in Atlanta. I could burst with excitement! I am truly honored to be able to capture their wedding day! It is such a blessing to work with such incredible friends and clients. Thanks so much for stopping by!
